The 54-hole P&G NW Arkansas Championship presented by Walmart starts Friday in Rogers, Ark. The 132-player field will be playing for a $2 million purse ($300,000 to the winner), Friday-Sunday at Pinnacle Country Club. On Wednesday, we welcomed Michelle Wie, Rolex Rankings No. 7 and CN Canadian Women's Open champion two weeks ago; Stacy Lewis, Rolex Rankings No. 39 and local favorite as a 12-time winner and four-time All-American at the University of Arkansas; and Jiyai Shin, Rolex Rankings No. 3 and defending champion, into the media center. The LPGA returns to Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas for the fourth edition of the P&G NW Arkansas Championship Presented by Walmart. Defending champion Jiyai Shin headlines a field of 144 players vying for a purse of $2 million and a first-place prize of $300,000.

The P&G NW Arkansas Championship presented by Walmart has announced a new partnership with Walmart and Mars Incorporated to present The First Tee MARS Challenge. Twelve First Tee participants from local and regional Chapters will compete alongside LPGA Tour players during the first and second championship rounds of the Tournament, Sept. 10-11. Each Chapter participanting in the event will receive a $5,000 cash donation from Walmart.
